Top 26 Outdoor DIY Ideas

It’s that time of year again...you’re hosting a few outdoor shindigs at your house and you want your yard to look extra cute. To add a little pizazz to your outdoor space, I’ve put together a list of DIYs you can try and most of them can be done in just a few hours and on a small budget {I mean wouldn’t you rather spend a little more on the sangria you’re going to serve than the outdoor decor}.

It’s For the Birds . . .

While cruising around Pinterest looking for outdoor decor ideas, I came upon quite a few ideas of things to make to attract and entertain our winged friends. From birdbaths to birdhouses to birdfeeders, there’s an instructional blog post for just about everything. Here are just a few that I will probably be adding to our outdoor area:

Here are a few that caught my eye:

Please Wipe Your Feet . . .
Who else loves changing out their doormat with the season or holiday? If you raised your hand, then keep reading for some ideas I found for personalizing one of the first things your guests will see when they ring the bell at your front door. From initials and sayings to chevron and bright bold colors, there's plenty to choose from in this roundup:

A Place to Hang Your Hose . . .
So with all the flowers you're going to be planting or putting around in pots, you're going to need to have the garden hose handy. But who wants to have a big ole pile of hose sitting around?! Let's make it a little more presentable. I found some neat ideas that are going to make you say "why didn't I think of that?!" Keep scrolling for a few hose storage ideas:

Hope you find a little inspiration from the links above to create an inviting, cozy outdoor space for your spring and summer get togethers. If you have a favorite outdoor DIY project that you'd like to share, link it below or share it on the Lipgloss and Onesies FB page!
