Minty Fresh

While most of our house is in neutral earth tones, I've really been loving the mint green color that's trending right now. Although I wouldn't paint a whole room in the color for fear of changing my mind, I would love to add a few accents of it to liven up our basic neutrals that we are currently using. While looking around on Pinterest, I found the following to be quite enticing {and possibly some upcoming craft projects}  :)

This adorable wreath is available on Etsy. I spotted it on Pinterest and then realized that it's made by a fellow North Carolinian :) The creator, Katie, has several colors and patterns of paper flowers available in her Etsy shop, The Paper Flowerbed, to buy in the form of bobby pins, decorative ones on stems and ones that are not attached to anything so that you can make your own creation with these lovely blooms.

This just screams weekend project to me. Gemma, over at The Sweetest Digs, found a lovely framed piece of artwork at a thrift store and revamped it to fit her needs. She replaced the flower still life with a mirror and painted the frame this lovely shade of mint {which I'm absolutely loving}.  

For those of you looking for a more substantial accent of mint green. How about this mint dresser that Ann Marie gave a new life to? Her blog is called Twice Lovely and lovely definitely defines this little gem. She even shares how she came up with this shabby, but so chic, look with a technique that uses Vasaline and DIY chalk paint {who'da thunk it?!}. 

These amazing vintage-esque jars are made from upcycled jars that by Natalie of the Beach House in the City blog. She even has a tutorial with instructions on how to make them yourself using just plain white glue, food coloring and water. These would be excellent gifts and you could make them any color you want since you can simply mix the colors to achieve whatever tint will go with your decor. But going along with the theme of this post, I'm totally loving the mint-ish hue :)
